Some of the adaptive approaches to developing systems (like
agile) are becoming more popular. Are they better or more appropriate than
prescriptive approaches in most cases? Why or why not?
Agile provides a more flexible approach versus
its counterparts. For instance, when changes need to be implemented, it can be
done so with ease. This is a welcoming approach for project sponsors or project
owners who rely heavily on making changes when reaching towards the completing
of a project. Furthermore, critics have warned about the hype of agile
approaches, but believe that if used properly, it can, in return, be rewarding
